Now Abraham lied to the king about his wife Sarah that she was only a sister and Sarah too was an accomplice; she agreed to the lie. But here’s the grace of God: God protected them from harm because they were made righteous by faith.

You see, Sarah was supposed to carry the promised seed in her womb. But for some reason the king couldn’t draw near to Sarah: God protected Sarah from being polluted and being sexually violated. God also protected Abraham from the wrath of the King for lying to him which is a death sentence crime in the court of law.

The first person the Bible calls “righteous” is Noah and he is protected in the ark from the greatest destruction the world has ever seen: the world wide flood. The Scripture says that the righteous run into the name of the Lord and are safe (Pro 18:10).

Beloved, know that because you are made righteous in Christ Jesus you and your family are well protected and safe. Regardless of what infectious disease or danger that world is afraid of you and I are safe in Christ Jesus. Amen?
