After Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego walked out of the fire they were promoted by the King. You see in the fire was an opportunity to for God to promote them.
Think about it –
If not for the fiery furnace we wouldn’t have heard of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.
If not for the giant, David wouldn’t have been recognized as a potential warrior.
If not for the accusers the woman caught in adultery in John 8 would not have had the opportunity to meet Jesus and be delivered by Him later.
If not for the cross, there would be no resurrection or any means of salvation to humanity.
Friend, what if we saw each trouble and trial as a set up for God to promote us? It would change the way we think about them or deal with them; it would alter the way we live life because life is but a series of fresh challenges. So it is clear that greater the challenge, greater the opportunity for growth and promotion. Amen?
