When Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego began to walk in the fiery furnace as free men, something spectacular happened: there appeared a fourth man “like unto a son of God” in the furnace along with them. God came down to be with them but here’s the thing, even though the King could see him, there’s no indication that they themselves could see God walking with them.
Beloved, God promises us “When you walk through the fire I will be with you, you will not be burnt” (Isa 43:2). But many a times we ourselves aren’t able to see it or feel His presence. But people around us, especially our enemies can see God’s presence with us in the fire. So what do you do? You learn to walk by faith and not by sight.
A KEY TO REMEMBER: While you’re in the fire you get to exercise your faith and grow in it.
Beloved, whatever situation you’re in today, know that God is with you in the fire. He will never leave you or forsake you. He is not standing outside the fire, giving you ideas or suggestions; He is right with you in it. He is the fourth man in the fire. Today know that He is indeed with you and as you relish His presence and keep walking, you will walk right out of your situation. Amen?
God bless you!
