Another reason why we can expect good things to happen to us this year is because our God is a God who loves to progress us and keep us on the move to a greater level of blessings and a higher level of His victory.
Proverbs 4:18 (NASB) says – The path of the righteous is like the light of the dawn that shines brighter and brighter.
The MSG translation (Pro 4:18) puts it across saying “the longer they live, the brighter they shine.”
When things go bad people wish they can “go back to the normal” but to the children of God it is different. Firstly, God doesn’t want you to go back but to move forward and make progress. Secondly, God didn’t call you to live “normal” but to live above “normal”. He will do something new. He wants you to live supernaturally and extraordinarily.
Friend, if you can believe in the fact that God’s plans are to increase you, you will not only see good things this New Year but also see progress and go higher. Amen?
